Observational Coding System-Digital Video-1394 Control (OCS-DV-1394) provides on-screen control for digital video cameras and enables a VCR playback function and direct capture of digital video to your hard disk drive.

• With a digital video camera in Camera mode, OCS-DV-1394 starts and stops the camera as it records video. A video preview window and VCR Remote Control panel are displayed on the monitor.


• With the camera in VCR mode, OCS-DV-1394 provides on-screen playback window and VCR Remote Control panel that initiates recording, playback and search functions.


• OCS-DV-1394 enables recording to the device medium or operator's hard disk drive while allowing simultaneous preview of video. This configuration also allows live coding of events.

                    Note: OCS-DV-1394 requires the IEEE 1394/Firewire interface.
