VCR Control System

The interface is designed to provide a wide range of commands.TRC's VCR Control System (VCR-CTRL) allows you to control multiple VCRs with one or more PC-VC card(s) or through a digital video card with OCS-Digital Video software.  A pop-up menu functions as the front panel of your VCR. You may engage standard VCR operations as well as variable speed searches from your desktop. With the correct hardware configuration, multiple VCRs may be controlled simultaneously or individually from the same computer. This software is incorporated into OCS Tools and VES.

Pan-Tilt-Zoom Controller System


The Pan-Tilt-Zoom system enables you to control up to four cameras directly from your desktop. The pan and tilt functions are controlled by a cable that connects the computer to the pan-tilt head of the camera. The zoom function is controlled by an infrared controller connected to the PC-VC card or the control camera for the PTZ camera (See photo).

The PTZ camera can be mounted on an arm.

Features

  • Control your camera with your mouse - Use the mouse to pan, tilt, and zoom your camera. You can control one camera at a time with your mouse. However, you can control another camera while the first camera is still moving. This feature does not work if you are using a joystick.

  • Control your camera with a joystick - You can use one or more standard joysticks to control the panning, tilting, and zooming of all four cameras one at a time. You can control cameras with one or more standard joysticks, or you can use a mouse to operate the simulated joystick in the control window. The Pan-Tilt-Zoom software also enables you to switch cameras or joysticks within a single window.

  • Control your camera with an infrared controller remote.

  • Locate and mount the PTZ camera almost anywhere.



OCS software enables you to place one or more control windows directly on your desktop.

  • Optional: up to two joysticks that must be compatible with Windows 95 or later.

OCS-DV-1394

OCS-DV-1394 enables you to do the following:

  • Synchronize to time generated by an external 1394 device (DV tape deck, DVD recorder, or DV camcorder)

  • Preview video from the 1394 on PC monitor

  • Control 1394 device to automatically initiate playback, record, and search operations

  • Record video to your device medium.

    Note: The 1394 control requires the IEEE 1394/firewire interface.

Scan Converter Controller System

The Scan Converter Controller System allows you to control a scan converter directly from your desktop environment, eliminating the need for independent controllers cluttering up your work area.
